CHURCH OF THE SAVIOUR has been a beacon for Christ on the East Side of Cleveland throughout our history. Now, as we approach our 150th anniversary as a congregation (founded 1875) and our 100th year in our current location (built in 1928), we are being beckoned into the future as a Christian community growing deeper in faith and pursuing God’s hope for every life.

We know our congregation to be a place of warm welcome, challenging preaching, and committed mission for Christ. But we also recognize that, over the last several years, we have faced some major obstacles. A global pandemic, denominational disruption, and leadership changes have challenged the way we do ministry and the connections we have with God and one another.

But we can sense the Spirit on the move among us. There is a renewed energy at Church of the Saviour calling us toward a new future. We want to be poised to respond to God’s summons and meet the moment.

sunday school

sundays @ 11:00 AM

Sunday School classes are driven by our mission to help youth build a relationship with Jesus Christ that lasts beyond high school. With scripture as our foundation, classes are designed to help youth learn and apply Biblical truths to their daily lives.

We aim to make the experience relevant, where tough questions and expressions of honest doubt can be shared and faced together. Thee are classes are offered for 6th–7th graders, 8th graders, and for 9th-12th graders.

fridays @ 11:00 AM

We aim to create a space where youth feel comfortable bringing friends. We learn about God in a nurturing, fun environment with activities like capture the flag, bowling, rock climbing, hide and seek, swimming, and more.

Once a month we gather for a service project to care for our neighbors in the Cleveland area. COTS Sr Youth includes Sprockets every other week.
