Spiritual Journaling Workshop

Thursday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m.
Sue Palmer is a spiritual director, retreat leader, labyrinth facilitator, and writer who will show us how journaling can be a form of spiritual autobiography, an act of prayer, and a way to sort out our emotions and responses to the world in which we live. No writing experience is necessary. RSVP to the church office at 216-321-8880.

SummerFest

Saturday, August 3 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us for our annual neighborhood carnival on the front lawn. Admission is free and fun for all ages is guaranteed!

Love Thy Neighbor

Friday-Sunday, August 2-4
The COTS ❤ Cedar Lee initiative is a fun and easy way for our church family to care for and have a positive impact on our community the first weekend of every month. It is as easy as stopping at your favorite business or patronizing your favorite restaurant in the Cedar Lee district. However you choose to participate, be kind, leave a tip, and show the community you care! Buttons and business cards are available at COTS welcome desks to help spread awareness.

The City Mission

Wednesday, July 14 & Thursday, July 15
We serve dinner at CrossRoads Men's Shelter at The City Mission the 2nd Thursday of each month from about 4:45-6:45PM. A meal for 70-100 people is prepared on the preceding Wednesday evening in COTS' kitchen from about 7-8:30PM. Each effort takes 6–10 people. Come help out each month or whenever you can. We’d love to include you, even if it’s a one-time opportunity. Contact the church office to participate in either the meal prep or serving.

COTS Softball Team

It's a winning season for the COTS Softball Team! Check out the schedule and past scores.

Chat Pals

Social connection is one of the fundamental factors affecting health and well-being. Studies reveal how a lack of social interaction increases health risks, especially among older adults. Chat Pals is a telephone and/or video-conference program managed by Greater Cleveland Volunteers. It is designed to provide emotional support and companionship to people who are living alone or lonely.

Grief Group

Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.
Are you grieving the death of a loved one? You are warmly invited to our weekly Grief Support Circle. Grief is a difficult journey and it helps to have companions along the way who know the unique pain and challenges losing a loved one brings. Whether you lost your loved one recently or a while ago, you are welcome.
