Love Thy Neighbor

The COTS ❤ Cedar Lee initiative is a fun and easy way for our church family to care for and have a positive impact on our community the first weekend of every month. It is as easy as stopping at your favorite business or patronizing your favorite restaurant in the Cedar Lee district. However you choose to participate, be kind, leave a tip, and show the community you care! Buttons and business cards are available at COTS welcome desks to help spread awareness.

We serve dinner at CrossRoads Men's Shelter at The City Mission the 2nd Thursday of each month from about 4:45-6:45PM. A meal for 70-100 people is prepared on the preceding Wednesday evening in COTS' kitchen from about 7-8:30PM. Each effort takes 6–10 people. Come help out each month or whenever you can. We’d love to include you, even if it’s a one-time opportunity. Contact the church office to participate in either the meal prep or serving.

Evensong Worship

Monday, April 14 at 7:00 PM
Please join us for a time of rest, prayer, and inspiration as we enjoy beautiful music sung by a spectacular, professional choir. “Evensong hangs on the wall of life like an old, familiar cloak passed through the generations. Rich with prayer and scripture, it is nevertheless totally nonthreatening. It is a service into which all can stumble without censure – a rambling old house where everyone can find some corner to sit and think, to listen with half-attention, trailing a few absentminded fingers of faith or doubt in its passing stream.” — Stephen Hough, The Telegraph

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group

Monday, April 14 at 6:30PM
The purpose of this group is to facilitate discussion surrounding the challenges faced by individuals who care for loved ones with dementia. We meet the second Monday of the month and welcome anyone in our community who wishes to attend. Leaders of the group are two church members who have both completed training through the Alzheimer’s Association and have personal family experience with this difficult diagnosis.
