Friendsgiving

Thursday, November 21 at 5:45PM
Join us for COTS' third annual TNT Friendsgiving! Several scrumptious turkey options will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Come and enjoy this holiday preview with us!

Community Leaf Raking

Saturday, November 23 from 1-6PM
Serving others and doing it with folks of all ages is a blast. It feels good because it's why God planted us here. Everyone at COTS is invited to help others with fall yard cleanup. We'll gather at Mama Santa's in Little Italy for pizza at 4:30.

Angel Tree Project

November 17-24
In past years, The Angel Tree Project has allowed us to provide Christmas gifts for over 200 local children. If you'd like to give a gift, please contact us by November 24.

Hanging of the Greens

Sunday, November 24 from 6-8PM
We're decking the halls! Join us in the Great Hall for desserts and a worship moment, followed by a collective effort to decorate our beautiful church for the Advent and Christmas seasons. The more the merrier!

Questions of the Heart

Sunday Mornings, November 10, 17 & 24
The pace of life keeps us in constant motion, moving from one thing to the next. Much of the time, we are so preoccupied with daily life that we don’t take time to reflect on things of meaning. And yet, we all have questions deep within us, questions that go beyond simple knowing. Over this three-week series, we will explore some of the questions that our hearts long to answer: What is the purpose of life? How can I find happiness? Who am I and how should I live? These questions will be explored in our next sermon series, Questions of the Heart

Love Thy Neighbor

Friday-Sunday, December 6-8
The COTS ❤ Cedar Lee initiative is a fun and easy way for our church family to care for and have a positive impact on our community the first weekend of every month. It is as easy as stopping at your favorite business or patronizing your favorite restaurant in the Cedar Lee district. However you choose to participate, be kind, leave a tip, and show the community you care! Buttons and business cards are available at COTS welcome desks to help spread awareness.

Advent Festival

Saturday, December 7 from 9AM-12PM
This much beloved community event features a fair trade and local holiday gift market, live festive music, made-on-site fresh donuts, a cookie walk for charity, and Dominick the Donkey's family-friendly scavenger hunt. Join us!

Christmas Music & Brunch

Tuesday, December 10 at 10AM
All are invited to explore the history of Christianity through music with the Noble Roaders String Band. Their program, “Music to Bring the Message,” will be followed by a sing-along. A festive brunch will be provided by members of the United Women in Faith Board. To be sure that we have enough table settings, please RSVP by December 3.

The City Mission

Wednesday & Thursday, December 11 & 12
We serve dinner at CrossRoads Men's Shelter at The City Mission the 2nd Thursday of each month from about 4:45-6:45PM. A meal for 70-100 people is prepared on the preceding Wednesday evening in COTS' kitchen from about 7-8:30PM. Each effort takes 6–10 people. Come help out each month or whenever you can. We’d love to include you, even if it’s a one-time opportunity. Contact the church office to participate in either the meal prep or serving.

Today's Needs. Tomorrow's Opportunities

October 2024 - September 2026
Church of the Saviour has embarked on a capital campaign to renew areas of our historic building, increase accessability, and vision plan for our future.

Grief Group

Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.
Are you grieving the death of a loved one? You are warmly invited to our weekly Grief Support Circle. Grief is a difficult journey and it helps to have companions along the way who know the unique pain and challenges losing a loved one brings.
